Story
Coming to terms with the death of Prof. Clarke, Jack proposes an alliance with his werewolf captors against dark magic and one specifically dark witch (aiming to curtail the rampant killings). As he teaches them a bit of their own history (and learns of magic's half-life), they in turn train his control of "Silverback," who hasn't taken on a champion (host) in fifty years.
