Story
It's time to start college applications: Ryan can't decide where he wants to go, Sandy is pushing his alma mater on Seth, and Summer is worried about being on the opposite side of the country to Seth. Worst of all, Marissa isn't sure if she'll be going anywhere at all, as she struggles with memories of Trey when faced with having to explain her expulsion. In the midst of all of the turmoil, Taylor gives Summer some good advice, Sandy invites a friend from Berkeley over for dinner, Julie finds herself forced to return to her roots, and Marissa goes to Johnny's surf competition, where an accident occurs.
