Story
Earp is summoned to Tucson to meet with another US Marshal and the Acting Governor Gosper who took over for the fired Governor Fremont due to the lawlessness in the Arizona Territory. Gosper has decided on drastic actions which includes issuing shoot to kill orders and organizing vigilante groups across the territory including one in Tombstone led by Earp's friend Dick Gird. Realizing Earp will need help he surprises him with Morgan Earp as his new deputy. Back in Tombstone Doc Holliday notices a large number of Clanton men in town armed. A friend tells him that they are planning to ambush Earp on his return to Tombstone. Doc and Shotgun talk to Dick Gird who has his new orders. Gird and the men lead a posse to rescue the Earps killing all the outlaws including Vic Styles who thought he was attacking rustlers.
