Story
Minna Marlin, an actress, is in Tombstone doing a dramatic play. Sheriff Behan takes her to dinner as he has a strong romantic interest in her. After a pleasant dinner with champagne he tries to impress her by talking not only about the legal money he makes but also the money from his connections with the Clanton gang. A waiter overhearing his talk reveals it to Old Man Clanton who summons Behan. Meanwhile, Marlin asks to see Earp revealing that she doesn't think it proper for a sheriff to be involved with criminals. Earp lets her know that everyone is aware of Behan's connections. Furthermore, each reveals that they have a mutual interest in each other as Earp has been watching her each night plus she wanted to see him. The two decide to see each other to prevent Behan from bothering her further. Old Man Clanton chews out Behan for talking while having an eye kept on Marlin.
