Story
George McKean spots Dobie Jenner peaking in his store window in Tombstone. He goes to Earp in a panic telling Earp that Jenner must have escaped from Yuma and should be jailed or run out of town as he is dangerous. Given no proof against Jenner, Earp decides to visit Jenner at the Cashman Hotel to hear his side. Jenner readily admits he killed a miner he tried to rob after showing Earp his parole papers for his early release. He says he has no grudge against McKean but asks about his wife Phoebe who Jenner was originally to marry. Earp replies she is well. That evening the McKeans both notice Jenner outside their house. Phoebe decides to go outside to see Jenner after Gearge tries to forbid her. She tells Jenner he is always welcome but as George comes outside with a pistol baiting Jenner, Earp intercedes.
