Story
Although Earp has one of the four members of the Dry Gulcher Gang in jail for killing Mr. Brother and wounding Mr. Cousin, he wants the other three men. He decides to go alone after them against Bat's advice so Bat follows along to help. They head for the Forks where the three men are hiding with a group of other outlaws. The three men decide to split up with Dick Averill using a stolen Army corporal's uniform to act as a messenger to redirect an Army patrol to go after a band of Cheyennes who left the reservation. Earp and Bat had met the Army patrol but a green shave tail Lieutenant allowed Earp to send them on a wild goose chase. Earp allows Bat to go into the Forks alone where he finds the men but is forced to stay in camp until Earp rides in to free him with a fake story. Earp met Averill in uniform so he and Bat decide to track down the soldiers but the Lieutenant puts them and the patrol in danger when they are confronted by the Cheyenne led by Young Wolf.
