Story
Mayor Kelley and the Dodge City council send their tax collector to a shanty town near Dodge City called Pinkytown to collect taxes. Her and friends are stopped from tarring and feathering the tax collector by Earp. Miss Pinky Thomason has been told by Doc Holliday that Dodge City can't collect taxes there after she sold him half interest in her Faro game. After hearing her story, he speaks to Doc who informs him Pinkytown was never annexed by Dodge City and furthermore it is not part of a government body as the Cheyenne reserved it as a Chief is buried there. Miss Pinky tries to collect a toll from cattle herds crossing Pinkytown as her own form of taxes but Earp convinces her to allow Pinkytown to be annexed by Dodge City which will build a school. She goes along but Mayor Kelley says their $3500 school fund is to expand the Dodge City school. Doc tries helping Miss Pinky to raise funds for a school but when it comes up short, his actions put him in conflict with Earp.
