Story
Susan Dodd has moved to Dodge City where she works in the mayor's office. She is a childhood friend of the Earps who married a man named Bob Pritchard who became a drunk and ran off. Susan divorced him but in the 1870's divorce was a blot on any woman's life. She is seeing Larry Herrick who would like to marry her but his family is opposed to her. As her and Wyatt are old friends and he has a soft spot for her, she confides in him about the issues with Larry. Wyatt suggests she flirt with others including a date or two with him and Bat to keep Larry's attention. Virgil Earp arrives to visit and Wyatt soon realizes that the family sent Virgil to keep Wyatt from marrying Susan. At the same time two of Larry's relatives come to town to check out Susan for the family making her mad and threatening to leave Larry. Larry's cousin Mel and Uncle Webb think Virgil or Wyatt are seeing Susan. This leads to clashes between the Earps and the Herricks until Susan makes a decision.
