Story
Chief Dull Knife and his tribe of Cheyennes have broken out of their reservation in Oklahoma and are headed for their tribal homelands in Montana and Wyoming. Along the way a settlement has been attacked and burned. Major Benteen asks Earp and Masterson to lead a posse to cut off the route of the Indians to allow Benteen to capture them. Mr. Cousin and Mr. Brother sneak into Dodge City to ask Earp to talk to Dull Knife to convince him to stop. Earp takes out the posse leaving it at the cutoff at Lost River. Earp goes on with Mr. Cousin and Mr. Brother to talk to Chief Dull Knife who is friends with Earp who punished the killers of Dull Knife's daughter. Dull Knife says his tribe was promised the right to return to their tribal homelands. He does agree to turn over four braves who attacked the settlement while two others claim the right to die fighting. In addition they have captured a corporal who is allowed to leave with Earp.
