Story
Two bounty hunters Dave Ritchie and Sam Watts find a wanted man outside Dodge City on a homestead with his wife. He has changed his life but that is of no concern to the men. The man makes a feeble attempt to escape so they shoot him and take the body to Earp for payment. Earp is unhappy but agrees to wire for their money but wants them out of town. The two men soon realize there is easy pickings in Dodge City as does Earp because many outlaws go west for a fresh start. The newspaper editor Sam Rolfe writes a story about the two bounty hunters that further fans flames. Watts spots Lawrence Younger with his pregnant wife on the street. They knock him out and take him to Earp for a $150 reward. Earp then concocts a plan with Sam to create wanted posters for each of the bounty hunters but with different names. Sam writes a fake article that Earp's office was robbed causing the bounty hunters to think Sam is wanted. Sam passes the fake wanted poster for each man to the other one in return...
