Story
Col. Prentress and Col. Wade are two ranchers in Kansas with a long simmering feud between them that is turning into a range war. The feud is over a disagreement between the two from a Civil War battle. Now it is spilling into Wichita as members of both ranches come there. Earp and his deputies are busy breaking up fights between hands from the two ranches. In a fight the Wade men are dominating, Mary Ellen Prentress tries to help her grandfather's men but Earp puts her in her place telling her she should act like a lady and is spoiled. Earp has resorted to arresting the men from both ranches along with the two Colonels when they arrive in town armed. Two of their men shoot it out with one dead and the other permanently crippled. Col. Prentress wires the governor who orders everyone released. Against orders, Earp takes Wade and Prentress to a barn where he has the two of them shoot it out inside.
