Story
Eddie Cain is a down on his luck private eye who's telling the police what happened. It began when a woman he knows called him and he went to see her and told him someone is trying blackmail her with something from her past and involves a mobster. He checks her people out and two catch his interest one is man named David Benedict who is David. Eventually he learns David is not the one and somehow they both team up to find out who the blackmailer is. He follows the other suspect and learns he has close ties to someone who has ties to his friend.
