Story
John meets the widow of the neighboring Red Rock ranch owner on her way to the ranch. John offers to buy the cattle and ranch but Mrs. Melanie Cawthorne is firm she plans to run and grow the ranch. Upon entering the ranch house she is confronted with her dead ranch hands killed by Comancheros. She runs to the Cannons for help who renew their offer but instead she wants the loan of hands to help her. Buck is sent with four men to help until Sam returns with new hands. Romero, the Comanchero leader, arrives wanting payment for the cattle owed him by her crooked husband. She tells him she wants to continue the deal to buy cattle from the Comancheros. Meanwhile, she snares Buck into staying with her as foreman and marrying her. She tells Buck she has arranged to buy 500 head of cattle making up the seller's name. Manolito sensing a problem finds she is receptive to him replacing Buck. Manolito finds Romero, a distant cousin, who tells the truth about his deal with her. When Romero wants ...
