Story
Brains is hauled into see Mike when he crashes his new bike into Glynnis' car. When one of the numbered notes Brains used to pay for the school excursion turns up in Ted's pocket. Ted explains he was paid with the marketed notes by Mr Morris for work done but Barton still has questions for Ted about how he paid for the excursion in the first place. Barton sets a trap for the thief by placing a dye bomb in the school's cash box. Ted is once again cleared but does admit to taking the money for the excursion from his father. Steve finds the real thief trying to clean the dye off his hands - Mr Morris, who is also in debt to Wheeler. Despite telling Tam that Cowboy is hers, Char asks Cowboy to tell Tam himself that he is spoken for. Steve is smitten with a girl he sees on the beach only to discover she is Wheeler's daughter.
