Story
Trigger Saunders and his saddle pals, Rusty and Chico, spot a wanted poster nailed to a tree offering a reward of $5000 for the arrest of the murderer of a prosperous rancher. The trio hears a shot, followed by a riderless horse sprinting past them. While the sidekicks chase the horse, Trigger rides to the sound of the shot and finds pretty Ethel Strong sprawled on the ground. She's not hurt, though her hat has a bullet hole in its crown. Trigger digs the slug out of the ground and discovers it matches the bullet that killed Ethel's father and a slug fired by ranch foreman Jim Blake's gun.
