Story
Mr. Harleybone leads the kids on a journey with his "Beauchamp Journals" (a diary by a voyageur who once used the fort in the 18th century) and tells of the forts illustrious past. He too shoots the rapids and as Zeke puts it "is caught in a circular eddy caused by the configuration of the channel,"- Chub rolls his eyes and exclaims," he's stuck in a whirlpool!" Later, Joe and the kids rescue him from an abandoned mine shaft from which he fell into.
