Story

WWI flying ace, Charlie Appleby, scares the residents of Indian River by flying low over the town. Later Shing Wauk sees a plane go down in the bush. Ranger Keeley (Graydon Gould) thinks it may be the old pilot, but it turns out to be a kidnapper holding an Italian Diplomat's son named President Marino. He is rescued by the kids with the old pilot's help. Sargeant Scott (Gordon Pinsent) gives Charlie a lecture about his low-flying, but that won't stop him- at the end he flies within 20 ft. over downtown Indian River.
