Story
Blair is overconfident that she can win the election for class president over another popular girl named Cynthia, but is humiliated when she doesn't win and is forced into the humiliating role of vice president. While she mopes about her defeat, everyone is oblivious to the fact that Cynthia is clearly upset about something. The night after the election Tootie finds her in the bathroom with a bottle of pills in her hand. When the news comes in that Cynthia has died everyone is devastated especially Blair who is overcome with guilt. While cleaning out Cynthia's room, the girls talk about the alarming statistic of teen suicides while Natalie comes up with the idea of Eastlake instituting a suicide hotline to help other girls avoid the same fate.
