Story
An extended F Word special for New Year's brings Gordon to the culmination of his nationwide search for the best local restaurants in Britain. This week, Doukan, a Moroccan restaurant from South London, and Retsina, a Greek restaurant from North London, become the final contestants in the show. Gordon attempts to create a traditional cuisine, Halloumi cheese. Janet Street-Porter has to face the dreaded moment of slaughtering her pigs for the F Word finale. She also learns how to make pastillas with wood pigeon filling from a Moroccan chef. Johnny Vaughan, Kate Silverton, and Fay Ripley attempt to beat Gordon in a best out of 3 recipe challenge. Stavros Flatley gives a special presentation to close the year.
