Story
In this week's F Word Gordon is joined in the kitchen by four passionate amateur cooks from the West Midlands who believe they've got what it takes to thrive in Gordon's kitchen. Gordon and his brigade cook three simple recipes everyone can cook at home: artichoke, asparagus and onion tart with fried quails' eggs, breast of duck with spring greens and gooseberry sauce and an amazingly easy four minute chocolate mousse. Plus Gordon teaches twin sister midwives how to deliver the perfect chicken for Sunday Lunch; Nick Knowles takes on Gordon in the recipe challenge; Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall helps stop Trinny and Susannah getting sunburnt; Jessie Wallace comes for dinner and Janet Street Porter travels to the Shetland Islands and gets a job in a fish and chip shop.
