Story
Tom and Norman are going into the hospital to get some tests done for health insurance purposes for the magazine. Eddie thinks Tom is hiding some serious illness from him. He's scared as his mother went into the hospital once and never came back. At the hospital, Tom and Norman face Miss Fern, the tough as nails by-the-book admissions nurse, intrusive tests and a womanizing bohemian of a doctor by the name of Hal Gould - "Speed" to his friends. But the tests get done. While Tom and Norman wait for the test results, Eddie is at home concerned. Mrs. Livingston thinks it would be a good idea for Eddie to go visit Tom in the hospital just so that he can see with his own two eyes that Tom is OK. Tom also thinks this is a good idea. However Miss Fern doesn't as it is against hospital policy for children to visit. Eddie thinks they are hiding something from him. Meanwhile, some of the test results come back - Norman has a clean bill of health, however Tom's tests come back inconclusive. Tom ...
