Story
Drug addict Carly-the girlfriend of Kieron Caffrey-is questioned about who is supplying her habit. As a claustrophobic she finds the experience very stressful and Kieron agrees to give information about his father's drug dealing on condition that she is released from custody. After her release, Roy is told to go round to her flat to retrieve information about drug dealing left there by Kieron. Unable to gain access he radios for Dean to come round and climb through an open window. Eventually PC Maguire climbs through the window but there is a shock in store when they discover that Carly has hanged herself. Cynically, Sergeant Giffin withholds the death from Kieron so that he will continue giving them the information they need to arrest Frank Caffrey. When Carly's father is informed of his daughter's death he goes to see Chief Inspector Newland and admonishes him for the nature of Carly's arrest and the fact that she was strip-searched and threatens to go to the press and try and ...
