Story
David learns that Julie has been engaged to work on the Hammond account for several months. Nicholas attempts to give Ann moral justification. From the chairman's chair while Ted is away, David cautions Brian to stop trying to run the firm his own way. Jennifer and Ted enjoy a day sailing. David speculates to Jill that Ann is pushing Brian to assume more power in Hammond now that the firm is growing. Ann confides in Pamela about Nicholas. David orders Mary to stay out of his personal life, and she confides that when she looks at Julie, she sees Jennifer Kingsley.
