Story
Now Gordon is preparing to go to Brussels, he tells Gavin there may be room for a promotion for him too - if he sacks useless Colin. Alas telling Colin he's out proves heart-breaking as Colin befalls numerous problems: he is blinded; he looses his aunt, surrogate mother and all his money; finally Gordon squashes his pet canary. Still, when the eager beaver goes on lifeguard duty in the pool and fails to save anyone, including Tim, Brittas orders his dismissal typed. The staff (including the union reps, Tim and Laura) revolt.
