Story
It's the men against the women when a vacancy comes up on the city council. Andy, Goober and Floyd decide that Howard would be an ideal candidate. At the same time, Aunt Bee's Women's Club decides that she should stand for office. When Andy tries to talk her out of it, it only re-enforces her resolve to run. Aunt Bee and Howard are soon on the campaign trail and while Andy is getting something of a cold shoulder at home, he remains steadfast in his support for Howard. When Andy suggests a public debate on the issues, it becomes obvious who the best candidate is.
