Story
The building containing Floyd's barber shop is put up for sale and Floyd is worried that new owners may want to use the space for their won purposes. He's relieved somewhat when Howard Sprague buys the building but they get into a spat when Howard tries to raise the rent. Floyd is insulted at the way he is being treated and Howard claims that he's only trying to get a measly 5% return on his investment. Floyd flatly refuses to pay more rent and announces that after 27 years, he's going out of business.
