Story
Barney decides that to be a modern police force, the Mayberry Sheriff's office should have a tracker dog. The mutt he acquires for the task is a lovable thing but not exactly suited for the purpose. When he and Andy have to go off searching for an escaped prisoner, Barney insists on bringing the dog along. Leave it to Barney of course to not recognize the escapee when he comes across him and he's soon taken prisoner. Thanks to his mutt, his attempt at escape is thwarted and soon both he and Andy are prisoners. As it turns out, Barney's dog saves the day.
