Story
The State Police descend on Mayberry when they set up a command center at the jail. They're after an escaped criminal, Derekson, but the Police Captain in charge isn't too open to any of Andy's suggestions, such as keeping an eye on the many back roads in the area. Barney sets up his own road block and, sure enough, comes face to face with Derekson who disarms him and ties him up. Andy knows exactly where the criminal would go and manages to nab the crook.
