Story

Mr. Anthony and the students are pretending to be Coast Salish peoples. Amelia is feeling insecure since she can't make her totem pole look as good as Zahara's and as it looks like in the photograph, in the process she feeling small and no good. Mr. Anthony shows Amelia how to do the growly bear stretch, which does make her feel better, but she still doesn't want to finish her totem pole if it can't look as good as Zahara's. So Mr. Anthony proceeds to tell Amelia about the time Napkin Man helped Raven, a Coast Salish girl, when she felt her totem pole, which she carved as the centerpiece for the potlatch, was not as good as Shyanna's, she regarded as the best totem pole carver.
