Story
A former entrepreneur Mr Welcome is now a heroin importer and his activities cause Marino and Flood to investigate a heroin addicted pregnant woman admitted to hospital, whose husband may be connected to Welcome and the heroin trade. The husband, Johnny Praisewater, used to work for Welcome but is on parole and is desperately trying to wean his wife off of the stuff. Marino and Flood convince him to go back to work for Welcome as an undercover informer in order to take down his empire.
