Story
Todd conceals from Liz that the rivalry between Sweet Valley and Pali High is going strong again. Manny, wanting to avoid the show-down, wears an arm-cast, but Todd sees through the ploy. Devon gives Liz an expensive necklace as an apology for brawling with Todd. When she tries to return it to him, he insists things will be different now. After spending a wonderful day together, Christian confesses to Jessica that the two schools are set for a show-down that night. In the girls' attempt to stop the fight, Jessica gets hurt accidentally, causing both sides to realize that fighting is wrong. Because of the brawl, Christian must return to the east coast to live with his mother, and Christian and Jessica say bittersweet good-bye.
