Story
THE PRINCE OF SANTA DORA is coming to Sweet Valley. JESSICA and LILA both vie for his attentions and Lila plans a huge banquet in his honor in order to impress him. Meanwhile, Jessica spends a whirlwind weekend with the Prince. At the banquet Lila reveals that the Prince will have an arranged marriage with a girl from an important Santa Doran family. However, the Prince is so impressed with Jessica's spirit and independence that he himself is inspired to defy his royal family's traditions. He asks Jessica to give him one more day to talk to his father. She agreed and they decide to meet the next evening at the pier. Unfortunately, the Prince doesn't show up because of an emergency back home and Jessica goes home furious. However, she receives a letter from him apologizing for his sudden departure. He tells her he cares for her a lot and he's sure they will meet again someday.
