Story
Sweet Valley High has decided to produce a weekly video news magazine. Everybody wants to be on its staff and they all prepare audition cassettes. ELIZABETH and JESSICA both want to be the anchorwoman. Elizabeth wants it because of her lifelong ambition to be a journalist; Jessica just thinks it would be cool to be on TV. Elizabeth makes an excellent tape and Jessica makes a horrible one. When Jessica sees her sister's tape, she decides to switch it with her own. Consequently, Jessica is chosen to host the show and Elizabeth is crushed. Of course, Jessica isn't able to write her own stories, so she begs Elizabeth to ghost write for her. Elizabeth concedes - until she finds out that Jessica deliberately switched tapes. With Jessica about to go on the air, Elizabeth shows up and tells Jessica to write her own stories. Jessica panics, goes on the air, can't say a single word and ends up handing the show over to Elizabeth.
