Story
Today is another hot and boring day and Haruhi is rather melancholic. Kyon is still confused on what his purpose is. As he remembers what the adult Mikuru told him about her mole, the present Mikuru finds her name on one of the computer folders. As they playfully wrestle for the mouse, Haruhi suddenly walks in on them in a bad mood, thinking that Kyon and Mikuru were fooling around. This apparently is the last straw for Haruhi and in the night, she and Kyon are transported into closed space, far from the real world. While Haruhi scrounges around for clues in the barren school, Itsuki and Yuki respond to Kyon and tell him that he's all they've got with Yuki writing the words sleeping beauty. After seeing another monster approaching the school and amidst Haruhi's excitement, he grabs her and runs out of the school.
