Story
Navy submarine commander Lt. John Merrick is considering a transfer to a desk position in order to spend more time with his wife; Lt. Markey Peale is hoping for a promotion to command his own ship. When an accident cripples the submarine, killing many of the crewmen and threatening the rest until help may arrive, the leadership qualities of both men are put to the test.
