Story
Granville intends to unload a job lot of turnips onto his gullible customers by persuading them that a slice of turnip attached to their ankle by a rubber band will act as a panacea for all ills but hits trouble when Mrs Featherstone, drunk on Mr Newbold's sister's home-made wine, makes advances to him. Gossip starts when an attractive young woman comes looking for Eric and although her mission is platonic eyebrows are raised when they are both seen peering into a pram used by Granville to promote his turnips.
