Story
Sisko wants to spend more quality time with Jake, and encourages him to think of a science project. They decide to make a field trip to a planet in the Gamma Quadrant which is in it's early stages of development. Jake wants to bring Nog along. He needs a good grade to stay in school. When Quark hears Nog is coming, he wants to come along as well. Quark's convinced he can change Sisko's previous decision to forbid him using the station's screens for advertising purposes. After some initial research of the planet, and with Jake and Nog still away, the two men have a meal, when an alien woman suddenly approaches them. She shoots Sisko with a telepathic weapon and claims she is on the run for the Jem'Hadar; soldiers of the Dominion. She advises Sisko and Quark to run, but it's too late: the three are taken captive by them, and it's up to Jake & Nog to rescue them.
