Story
A good commander in New Guinea is dismissed by his superior General who wants to claim credit for his work. Erskine is accompanying two nurses to a forward medical aid station on the Kokoda Trail. When there, Erskine finds a forward Japanese scout in the area and kills him. Despite reporting the situation, the General refuses to believe it and thinks it is a set up as it puts him is bad light. He orders Erskine to be withdrawn but Erskine stays and helps stop a Japanese artillery platoon attempt to go around behind the aid station.
