Story
Just before Christmas, Erskine and Haber seek sanctuary in an abandoned communications post. Not knowing that they are there, they find themselves under an artillery barrage by allied gunners. They try to make an escape but Haber is seriously injured and needs to be saved by Erskine. They then encounter two Japanese soldiers, one of whom studied in Sydney, in the bunker and then find themselves shelled by the Japanese. In their precarious situation, Erskine and Haber learn to respect the other soldiers.
