Story
As Adam and Laurel do a little shopping while Adam's dad is out of town, it seems some of Laurel's memory is returning. She sees Moorpark in town and freaks out, though. Back at Shadowmire, Moorpark tells Ann they need to get Laurel because she holds the key to getting Madeline back from the same plane the two were sent to. Ann runs to Adam's house to warn him and his mom. Laurel says she used to be best friends with Ann's mom, Angelique. They head out, with Watch and Sally, to get Laurel to the safety of an area of Springville with heavy copper concentration, which should shield them from the psychic powers of Moorpark and his minions, the Homunculi. Watch and Sally decide to go back, sneaking into Shadowmire to try to learn something about Moorpark's creatures from the library there. In the mountains, Laurel explains that Angelique began to scare her with her powers when they were young; so, when she stumbled upon the raven's eye, she hid it from Angelique, then switched colleges ...
