Story
Zoe finds herself in the dock charged with two counts of involuntary manslaughter and one count of conspiracy to commit murder. She had gone undercover in order to infiltrate the Turkish mafia which MI5 believes was getting into the major arms business. She manages to enter the group's inner circle by befriending Sevelin Ozal. He now claims that Zoe encouraged him to murder Emre Celenk, the group's leader - an accusation that she vehemently denies. The Crown contends that Zoe made Ozal jealous by spending the weekend with his boss and then told him to kill the man, which was the aim of the operation from the outset. Zoe has been given a cover story and is under orders not to reveal what really happened. She does confide in Danny however. Harry Pierce believes the whole prosecution is driven by a police force upset that one of their own, an undercover officer, was killed as well.
