Story
Fiona 'Freddy' Reddy starts work at Spatz and Dexter, trying to impress her, assures her that he's buddies with numerous high-profile celebrities. Karen overhears his boasting and, keen to pounce on a money-making gimmick to trump Blimpy's, orders that he bring his 'friend', Gary Lineker, to Spatz for a special event. She goes ahead and orders the merchandise, but hapless Dexter has no luck getting hold of Lineker. Meanwhile, the girls are engaged in verbal combat with builders from a local site, including Dave, who Freddy is quick to insult. Eventually, Dave is able to persuade her that he's different from the others, and romance looks to be on the cards. Just as it seems as though Dexter's life is over, TJ arrives at the restaurant with Gary Lineker, who he met while buying cowboy boots. Karen's merchandise generates £3,000, which TJ insists is given to Gary to donate to the charity of his choice.
