Story
To Karen's utter disgust, TJ is offered a promotion back in Canada. To prove a point, TJ accepts the job, and in his place comes Melvin Frapelli, a lazy, feckless slob, who has the advantage of being closely related to the Spatz corporation's owner. Karen is at her wit's end; she can't be her useful nasty self with a man in such an influential position, but at the same time the restaurant is falling to rack and ruin. Melvin orders too much salt, forgets to order burgers, and routinely helps himself to cash from the registers. Meanwhile, the rest of the staff is organising a Canadian-themed leaving bash for TJ, complete with Mounties, moose and hockey players. While collecting his things, TJ sorts out the mess Melvin has left in his wake, and Karen finds herself begging TJ to stay. This becomes possible when a memo arrives from Louis Frapelli, informing Karen that his nephew has been disowned and disinherited and must not, under any circumstances, be given a job managing Spatz.
