Story
Local rising installation artist Jan Brandt's corpse is found half-naked, wearing a plastic bag as if victim of a sexual asphyxiation game gone out of control, but preliminary study sketches are missing. Brandt's project already reached the press as a cleaning lady allegedly ruined it by removing what looked like a vulgar dirt spot, which however was his own blood. Snooty Wismarer Kunsthalle manager Stefanie Knecht seems mainly concerned with the possible impact on sponsors, especially wood trader Uwe Klaas. Her flirtatious gay-bi assistant, would be-artist Bastian Paulsen, hastily alerted newspaper reporter Leo Leupold, almost as if it was all staged. Brandt and Paulsen rowed about winning the manager, who also hides some secrets.
