Story
Sickly senior spouses Wilhelm and Rosa Kusche are found apparently suicide-shot in their villa. Chief Reuter takes the lead, being the only cop convinced it must be related to never-convicted Wilhelm Kusche's criminal GDR past, especially an unsolved murder presumed to involve slick lawyer Christof Teevs, whose offered help Jan waves as sabotage. Also suspect seems the couple's Afghanistan front-traumatized, silent orderly, Bernd Rabe, who recently lost another patient. Both adult children and heirs were estranged: son Reiko written off due to his drug dependency, yet claiming his father financed his gambling and - lounge, and his sister Clara Kusche who turned her back on the 'ruthless capitalists'.
