Story
Student and heiress Ariane Gerber is kidnapped while jogging in the morning in Stuttgart's villa suburb. The same fate befalls a brave passerby jogger, whose robot picture fits atypically late police IT specialist Rico Sander. Danger mounts when the kidnapper learns Rico is a cop and demands a 2 million Euro cash ransom, remarkably fitting the Gerber family's fortune, suggesting an insider accomplice. Ariane 's ex-con womanizer boyfriend Dennis Müller must deliver it, but the police river patrol finds his corpse in the Neckar, having refused to prove his 'loyalty' by shooting Rico, who has the same profile. Rico must deal with the brutal killer and an escape plan while his colleagues work out how Ariane's maternal inheritance in parental trust management become the motive as her father's ailing company needs cash injections.
