Story
At the Tates, the families gather with Det. Donahue to mourn Chester and tell wild, funny stories to celebrate his life. Benson cannot think of a single story. The story- tellers are funnier than the stories; there there is much giggling and laughter until The Major makes a rousing speech. . . about the wrong man. Sally visits the Campbell home to tell Mary she is the one who had the first affair with Burt. Mary is distraught about Sally's youth and figure. Sally sucks up to Mary, talking diets and weight loss, until she explodes her bombshell: Burt is also cheating on Sally (and Mary) with an 18 year old. . . but this is a lie. Jodie travels to Texas to visit Carol, where he meets her mother. Jodie is Mrs. David's "first homo. " Carol shocks Jodie by telling him she does not want him to be her child's father and Jodie shall never see his child. The news breaks Jodie's heart.
