Story
Simon is late for his first day back at school after the holidays. Jimmy is convinced that his standing on a crack is bringing him bad luck. Miss Feeble appoints Sally as class monitor. George breaks the Witch's tea pot so she dusts off her spell book to find a spell to replace it. Suggesting she can't read the spells because George has eaten half the letters she resorts to remembering a spell which results in her magic-ing an abundance of cabbages. Mr. Bodley announces a fundraising project to raise money for the old folks at the home. From a box of biscuits to a new minibus, he proclaims the sky's the limit and tasks the children to come up with some bright new ideas. Simon goes to see the Witch to get some ideas and upon discovering she can't read, he offers to take her to school with him with a promise she will be able to read her spell book properly in return with some help with fundraising ideas.
