Story
Bill McAteer and his son Frankie are killed when their car is run off the road, Frankie being shot in the head. Bullish DCI Underhill suspects Bill's violent brother Tommy, just out of jail and is curious as to why Frankie's friend Liam, in whose car he was riding, is unhelpful. Clarissa's husband Max, a digital forensics expert, unlocks Frankie's phone and finds that both he and Liam were terrified by somebody but Frankie's ex-girlfriend Becky gives nothing away before attempting suicide. At the same time Underhill unearths a McAteer family secret but is unable to save Liam from his fate.
