Story
Sila signs the marriage register, after which Celil locks her in one the bedrooms in Boran's house. Boran's parents learn the truth about the marriage, but decide not to tell Boran, and go to spend the night at Boran's uncle house, leaving only Ayse, one of the servants, in the house, as well as the door guards. After Boran enters the bedroom where Sila has been imprisoned, Sila attempts to stab him, and Boran learns for the first time how Sila was tricked into coming to Mardin. Boran goes to his father for advice, who insists that, the marriage ceremony having been held and the register signed, it is now too late to cancel the marriage and indicates that the marriage should be consummated by force, if necessary. Boran returns to the house. After taking steps to ensure that everyone believes the marriage has been consummated, he sleeps in another part of the house.
